Beat the summer heat and head on down to Union Station this Thursday as the Blue Bell Ice Cream Truck will be parked and dipping free ice cream from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in honor of National Ice Cream Month! During Blue Bell’s Week of Free Ice Cream, the community is invited to sample the company’s newest creation, Rockslide Brownie Ice Cream.
Also, don’t miss The Amazing Science of Freeze Stage Show at 10:30 a.m., Noon and 2:30 p.m. in Kansas City’s Science Center, Science City! Examine the peculiar properties of dry ice and fundamentals of the three basic states of matter. Literally, a “very cool” show that the entire family will enjoy! All those who stop at the Blue Bell trailer will receive a buy-one-get-one-free pass* for Science City to watch as scientists demonstrate the science of freeze.
