Tax free back to school shopping weekend begins at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, and runs through Sunday, Aug. 3. During this time, shoppers can save on sales tax for certain back to school purchases like clothing, shoes, school supplies, computers, electronics, and other items as set forth in the statute.
