Are you looking for a fun and unique way to spend a Saturday afternoon with your family? We're pleased to partner with the National Agricultural Center & Hall of Fame to share some info about a fabulous family-friendly event happening this Saturday May 14, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Barnyard Babies is special one-day event celebrating spring on the farm! You'll enjoy learning about the time for sprouting crops, blooming flowers and see the baby animals. This fun day will have your little ones "ooh"-ing and "ahh"-ing at all of the babies that can be found on the farm! Special guests of the day will include chicks, calves, kids (baby goats), and more!
The Ag Farm whose mission is to educate the public on the historial and present value of American agriculture, is funded by individuals, corporate donations, and foundations. If you are interested in supporting them and their efforts, membership information can be found here.
The Ag Farm is located just north of the interchange of I-70 and Kansas Route 7 in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Their hours are Tuesday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. & Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. They're closed Mondays and on major holidays, as well as mid-November through mid-April.
Daily admission prices are as follows:
Adults $7.00
Seniors (62 & older) $6.00
Students and Active Military $5.00
Children (5 – 16) $3.00
Children (Under 5) FREE
Members: FREE
