5.1.10 A.D. – Mark this on your calendar NOW! Dinosaurs Unearthed™, is the largest life-sized exhibit to ever make its way through Kansas City! The exhibit will debut May 1, 2010 and run through September 1, 2010.
Your science-loving kiddos will experience dinosaurs like never before! Featuring over two dozens of prehistoric giants, these animatronic beasts will have swishing tails, gnawing teeth, and even ROAR! In addition, kids will have the opportunity to learn about some of the fossil discoveries of 1996 and see fossil replicas and eggs from the Jurassic, Triassic, and Cretaceous periods!
Kids can also take part in the kids' paleontological dig site - DinoDig – and uncover dozens of prehistoric fossils. Visitors over in Science City can experience DinoLab where they'll participate in activities with resident paleontologist, Matt Christopher (Dino Matt) as he and his staff prepare dinos for displays.
Finishing off the dino-sized visit to Union Station this summer, is Dinosaurs Alive 3-D, a thrilling film that takes visitors way back to the Triassic period while following along prehistoric creatures both small and large shown on the Regnier Extreme Screen.
