Kansas City Halloween Happenings.

  Check out these fun happenings going on to celebrate Halloween with local Kansas City kids!

  • Green Acres Market is hosting Health & Fun Trick-or-Treating for Kids on October 30th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. @ their Briarcliff location.  Come sample fun alternatives to traditional treats and enjoy craft activities with the kids.
  • Eber Jeeber will be hosting its first annual costume contest on Halloween day from 10 AM to 5 PM.  First prize is a $50 gift card, and second prize is a $25 gift card, or a Twilight Turtle, your pick.  Contestants will be judged on creativity, and of course cuteness! Free candy and Halloween pencils for the kids, and a drawing for another $50 gift card to Eber Jeeber.  Winners will be notified the following day. All this just for showing off your kiddos!
  • Toys R Us will be hosting Geoffrey's trick-or-treat parade on Halloween from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.  Bring the kids in costume to join the parade and receive a FREE eco-friendly Halloween bag and treats!
  • Enjoy trick-or-treating in downtown Overland Park  from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. - tons of participating merchants and a fun, LIVE rockabilly band!
  • Enjoy safe trick-or-treating and FREE crafts and activities at Trick or Treat Trail at Matt Ross Community Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • “Boo” on the Boulevard at Regency Park @ 92nd & Metcalf, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Enjoy trick-or-treating fun for the whole family!  Activities include: costume contest, pumpkin decorating, bounce house, drumming circle, face painting, crafts, ninja and martial arts demos and candy.
  • Trick or Treat at Bass Pro Shops from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Plenty of food sampling, crafts and fun!
